Below is a list of the different types of Debris Caps™ available accompanied with a 'rule of thumb' usage guide to help you decide which Debris Cap™ best suits your needs.
Also, locking dev ices are available to prevent tampering and unauthorized use, and optional 3M Locating Coils can be placed in stand-off brackets under the cap to help locate buried caps. Custom contact pads are available for unusual sizes & diameters of valve boxes. A sturdy, stainless steel compression spring locks the cap into place providing years of protection.
DC400: Fits smooth-wall 4" ID.
DC425: Fits smooth-wall 4¼" ID.
DC450: Fits smooth-wall 4½" ID (Adjustable round contact pads).
DC4X5: Fits smooth or screw type 5-5½" ID (Adjustable verticle contact pads).
DC4X6: Fits smooth or screw type 6-6¼" ID (Adjustable verticle contact pads).
DC4X7: Fits smooth or screw type 6¾-7" ID (Adjustable verticle contact pads).
DC500: Fits smooth-wall 5¼" ID.
DC500(M): Fits smooth-wall 4 7/8- 5 1/8" ID.
DC550: Special 6¾ smooth-wall.
DC575: Discontinued.
DC590: Fits screw-type tope section (typical Tyler style) 6¾".
DC590(BC): Same as
the DC590 with adjustable verticle contacts pads (for the real Tyler Box).
DC600: Fits nominal 6" smooth-wall ID.
DC625: Same as the DC600, but with one ring trimmed from rubber skirt. (Fits the Bibby and Mueller top sections that are 5 13/16").
DC5X7: Fits nominal
7" ID (Adjustable contact pads).
DC800: Fits nominal 8 " ID.
DC806: Same as DC800, but the two side contact pads are adjustable (in & out) for slight variable off of nominal 8".
